Ah this little Princess ... I love her so!
She is growing and changing before my eyes. And fast! She'll be three in a few short weeks!!
Since she's been able to speak, her affirmative response to a question has always been, "I do."
"Scarlett, do you want to go for a ride?" "I do."
"Scarlett, did you have fun at church?" "I do."
"Scarlett, let's go potty." "I do."
"Scarlett, do you want a banana?" "I do."
And so on.
And oh-my-goodness, it is so cute. She's got a distinct voice she uses for "I do" and everybody who hears her give that response thinks it is adorable.
But since she started going to school twice a week, she's been picking up on language cues. And she slowly started to say "Es" (yes) as her affirmative response to questions. And now ... there is hardly an "I do" in her vocabulary.
And I cannot tell a lie: it makes me sad. :(
