Scarlett's 2 Year Doctor Visit

 

Scarlett once again really impressed us with her calmness during today's doctor visit.  She didn't fus once!

 

Though she is still very small, not even on the charts.  And she's still just a mere 19 lbs.  We discussed the two gastroenterologist visits we've had, and how they seem rather pointless.  So Dr. Pyle ordered some blood work to rule out any problems (which should have been done to begin with, in my opinion).   And the paperwork noted that if the blood work comes back negative, then he'll just attribute her petite size to genetics.  

 

Can I get an amen?!?

 

Scarlett impressed us even more when she didn't fuss one little bit - not even a peep - when she had her blood drawn.  The tech took four vials, which took a bit of time and Scarlett sat there and watched patiently.

"Oww-uh-ch"

 

Scarlett has discovered "ouch" ... but her pronunciation is "owww-uh-ch."   She loves to walk a couple of feet, and then sit down as if she's fallen and call out, "Owwww-uh-ch!"

Miss Scarlett Turns TWO - The Festivities

Oh my goodness ... Miss Scarlett is already TWO!  Can you believe it?

We had two birthday this year:

1.  A small gathering at our home, including Auntie Liz and Grandma Janet.  Scarlett absolutely loves the Disney movie Tangled with Rapunzel, so Rapunzel's tower was this year's theme.

Scarlett opened her presents at the park, while wearing the birthday dress Granny and Grandpa sent her.  Thank you - we all love the dress! :)

Her doll (my old Baby Elisabeth) was perpetually naked, so one of our friends go a cute little outfit for the doll, so Scarlett could dress her.

We have a friend, Victoria, who turned 2 just days before Scarlett did, so we had birthday party playdate one morning with lots and lots of friends.  Hello Kitty was the party theme!

And Mommy made Hello Kitty cookies for everybody at the party!
